Information about Final Exam Section 004 only
Last update: December 4, 2012, 12:56PM
 There are exactly 20 questions
There are 2 questions on \(\chi^2\). Be able to compute the "expected" table and degrees of freedom.

There are 2 questions on ANOVA. Be able to complete a partially filled table.
Review Chapter 9 and 12 practice problems,
especially problems 30 and 32. Be able to find degrees of freedom and Fstatistic.

Please review slide 25 of PowerPoint for Chapter 8. This
covers the "plus 4" rule confidence interval for the difference of two proportions. Take notes if necessary.
I also added an R script plus4.R which illustrates
the calculations (easy to reproduce on a calculator).

The exam is light on regression (Chapter 2) and experimental design (Chapter 3).

The exam somewhat emphasizes Chapter 6, 7 and 8.
